This video showcases Idea Unsound's audio-visual capabilities. In collaboration with DuMarkus Davis and the SF Conservatory of music, Idea Unsound has created generative, sound reactive visuals to accompany Davis's re-orchestration of the iconic song "Strange Fruit". In this, elements on screen react to the amplitude of the piano, becoming clearer the louder it is. This is to represent the voice of the African American, in that the louder we speak, the more clearly our voice is heard.
This video features footage from the hit puzzle game "Portal 2", with which Idea Unsound has completely recreated the sound design. Video footage is copyright Valve corp, however all sounds were created, panned, mixed, and placed entirely by Idea Unsound.
This video is a commercial mock up for the game "Ace Combat". For this, Idea Unsound created the musical cue for the commercial, demonstrating his versatility as a music composer. All video elements are copyright of their respective copyright owner, the audio portion however was entirely provided by Idea Unsound.
